Operations Support Manager
Langley Forest School is seeking a part-time Operations Support Manager to join our leadership team and help steward the school’s mission of outdoor, child-centered education. Working closely with the Administrator and Board of Directors, this role supports key areas of nonprofit operations including HR coordination, licensing and compliance, budget planning, grant management, and strategic implementation. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, HR or administrative experience (preferably in the nonprofit or education sector), and a passion for community, environmental stewardship, and inclusive early childhood education. Flexible, home-based work environment with occasional on-site presence in Langley. Approx. 10 hours/week
Substitutes
LFS is a play-based, place-based child-emergent, all outdoors, all-weather forest education facility that follows a September to June curriculum for 3-5-year-old children and for 5-7 yr old children. Located in Williams Park and the South Langley Regional Park, both locations are spaces where children learn in a natural environment that focuses on student-led learning and environmental stewardship.
